Autism Family Fun Day 2015 - Sleaford Rugby Club

A Family Fun Day to raise awareness and money for the National Autistic Society and for the Grantham Autistic Information Network (GAIN) was hosted this weekend at Sleaford Rugby Club.

Charity Family Fun Day - Sleaford

The day included a fun fair, 5-a-side football tournament, archery, live bands, gymnastics and dance performances, tombola stalls, dancing dogs, giant tortoises, vintage cars and engines, bikes and trikes plus a 175ft bungee jump! The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Dakota also made a special fly-past on the day.

Future Prospects submitted a team into the 5 aside football tournament which managed to raise over £500 for the 2 charities and somehow we managed to finish joint 3rd on the day!

Special thanks to Jon McCallion, Richard Bombroffe and Micky McMillan for stepping in to support us with a team on the day, plus our very own Billy Williams who did his best to keep the ball out of the net and Simon Gabbitas who managed to score a few and get cramp half way through the Semi Final!

It was a great day and we hope that the event organisers decide to repeat the event next year!
