As part of Hospice Care week (5th – 11th October), the Future Prospects team got involved in the ‘Be Bright Blue for Beaumond House’ fundraiser. Beaumond House Hospice is a community hospice in Newark.

Beaumond House Hospice provides care for over 500 patients each year, and offer support to their families. They can care for up to 150 patients at any one time. They will require around £1,000,000 this year alone to continue offering this level of support. Around 25% of this is provided by the NHS, whilst the remainder is funded by the community of Newark and the surrounding area.

‘Be Bright Blue for Beaumond House’ gives local businesses, such as Future Prospects the opportunity to help raise money towards the day to day running of Beaumond House.

Armed with blue Beaumond House balloons, blue iced cakes and lots of enthusiasm – the Future Prospects team took to fundraising on Thursday, 8th October within their team and surrounding offices. Thank you to everyone who donated!
